ENERGY SURVEY

John Cornyn and Rick Noriega have differing views on energy. The following is a summary of their plans.

In simple terms, Rick Noriega’s Energy plan has four planks:

  1. Immediately withdrawing our troops from Iraq
  2. Before leaving, asking Iraqis to supply more of our oil, thereby increasing our dependence on foreign oil
  3. Stop further drilling for natural gas and oil in the United States
  4. Provide incentives to develop alternative sources of energy

The Cornyn plan:

  1. Explore resources in  America so we can decrease our dependence on foreign oil
  2. Provide incentives to develop alternative sources of energy
