Bloggers on the G.I. Compromise Bill
June 24, 2008
Bloggers are praising Senator Cornyn for his foresight and perseverance in ensuring transferability is included in the G.I. Bill compromise.
Here's just a few of those postings:
Pondering Penguin states, "As I've noted before, the main difference between the bill introduced by Senator Jim Webb and the bill supported by the White House and other strong supporters of military families, like Senator Cornyn, was the issue of transferability". Read the full post here.
Kathy Williams at ConservativeThoughts reports in here.
Check out Texican Tattler's thoughts over here.
The Lonnie Walker blog mentions, "This bill was vital to the military's needs. It allows dependents of military personnel to use the benefits if something happens to the military member and he/she is unable to use the education benefits."
