I'm mad and I'm not going to take it anymore. Bottom line: When the Republican platform contains support for drilling in ANWR and the outer continental shelf, as well as exploitation of western shale oil reserves, I'll be happy to send a check. Until then, don't hold your breath. If the democrats support drilling as mentioned above, I'll send them a check. Based on the track record, Hell will freeze over before the DNC gets a check from me.

Thank you Senator Cornyn for a bit of clear thinking on drilling the OCS.

I am still unsure whether I support drill here, drill now, but I ca not believe Pelosi would give out the president's number.

Democrats have messed up Congress ever since they took over.

I agree with the drill here drill now but I believe the government should invest more money into alternative fuels.  If Texas wasn't as big of a energy provider would you still be in favor of drill here drill now Senator?

Those of us that follow politics realize our energy cost are high because Democrats refuse to allow us to drill and refine our own fossil fuels.  President Bush has lifted the executive embargo and Pelosi retaliated by giving out his phone number and encouraging people to call and complain.  A fellow Congressman gave out her number and encouraged us to call and voice our views.  Some Democrats are listening to us.  speaker Pelosi refuses to bring the discussion to the floor.  Call Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi at 202-225-0100 to let her know we want to drill here NOW!
