Senator Cornyn... I just watched "The cost of freedom" on Fox News. I stongly urge you to vote no on the credit card bail out! My husband and I live in a town of @ 900 people in Johnson Co. in Texas. We have 2 Mastercards and 2 Visas that we have maintained in good standing. We have not lived above our means and we do not think it is fair for us to pay for someone else who has. Having a credit card comes with having responsibility! What is going on? Mortgage bail out...we pay our mortgage on time. Auto Maker bail out...? Credit card bail out....we pay our credit cards on time. Why when we did what we are suppose to do gonna get slammed with all this and people who didn't are gonna get help? How is the govt. gonna reward people like us who did what we're suppose too instead of rewarding irresponsibility? This is going to make us not want to pay our mortgage or bills! This is total treason to the good, responsible Americans. Let the chips fall where they may and let Americans get a back bone again! Please...speak out for us and fellow Americans who have done the responsible thing.This is going to force us into despair and resentment.

Dear Senator Cornyn,

I had the pleasure of speaking to one of your office staff members in San Antonio a couple weeks ago, and I am so glad that I did. I spoke about my concerns with the election, and about all the other issues of the day that directly affected me, and your staff member was very understanding.  Thank you, Senator, for all you do for Texas. Congratulations!! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
