I authored legislation to explicitly ban Sharia law from being applied in U.S. courts, ensuring American law always comes first.
✔ Took on CAIR and Islamist Front Groups
I introduced legislation to strip tax-exempt status from organizations that bankroll terrorism or promote Sharia law under the guise of “civil rights.”
✔ Moved to Designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a Terrorist Organization
I co-sponsored legislation directing the State Department to formally label the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates as terrorists, cutting off their influence and funding.
✔ Blocked Terrorist Sympathizers From Entering the U.S.
I introduced legislation to bar members and spokespeople of Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, and affiliated Islamist groups from entering America.
✔ Stood Up for Texans Against Sharia-Based Communities
When concerns arose about Sharia law being enforced inside a proposed development in North Texas, I demanded a DOJ investigation and made clear: Religious discrimination and Sharia law have no place in the Lone Star State.
