PACs Point to Cornyn’s Support for Commonsense Health Care Solutions and for First Responders
AUSTIN, TX — Today, Texans for Senator John Cornyn announced the endorsement of the federal PACs for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (ORTHOPAC) and the American Ambulance Association (AMBUPAC). ORTHOPAC is the only national political action committee in Washington, D.C. dedicated solely to representing orthopaedic surgeons before Congress, giving surgeons a voice with legislators to advocate for the profession. AMBUPAC represents ambulance service providers nationwide and supports candidates for Congress who align with EMS and ambulance industry priorities.
“A proven champion for both physicians and patients, John Cornyn has supported policies that expand access to high-quality health care and strengthen our health care system. He understands the challenges facing orthopaedic surgeons, from burdensome regulations to the need for fair and stable Medicare reimbursement, and has worked to advance practical, commonsense solutions. ORTHOPAC is proud to support his re-election and looks forward to continuing our important work together to improve patient care and support America’s physicians.”
— Dr. John T. Gill, Past President, Texas Orthopaedic Association; Member at Large, AAOS Board of Directors
“I appreciate the support of both ORTHOPAC and AMBUPAC, and I’m grateful for their leadership in advocating for physicians, EMS professionals, and the patients they serve. I’m proud to support policies that strengthen medical services, improve access to care, and ensure doctors and EMS have the resources they need to serve patients, especially in rural and underserved communities.”
— Senator John Cornyn
